About

Meet Dr. Westbrook

After having worked in medical centers since adolescence, Dr. Westbrook has always found medicine and science to be her passion. When considering her career path, it became clear that due to the strain of the system, patients were often treated medically, but their emotional experience and the stressors of being sick were largely ignored. Psychology, specifically the intersection of medicine and mental health through rehabilitation psychology and neuropsychology is where she landed; with a focus on treating the whole patient and not just one component. Her aim in starting via nova neuropsychology was to create a safety net, clear direction and emotional support for individuals and their families as they navigate the complex and often lonely journey of medical care and life after a diagnosis. Dr. Westbrook is dedicated to providing a continuum of care when life and one’s health feels confusing or hopeless. Through data driven, research based approaches uniquely tailored to each individual, comprised of the highest standards in neuropsychological assessment and follow up care, Dr. Westbrook is here to provide clarity and help you pave a new path forward.

I have had the privilege of working with adults across all stages of life and from a wide range of backgrounds. My experience includes providing neuropsychological assessments, cognitive rehabilitation, and therapy to diverse populations such as active duty service members from all military branches—including special operations and the CIA—veterans from WWII through OEF/OIF/OND, retired NFL players, physicians and healthcare professionals, Silicon Valley tech executives, CEOs, and individuals from the entertainment and media industries.

I continue to serve clients in Silicon Valley, flying in by request to provide in-person assessments for professionals in tech, academia, entertainment, and business.

Beyond my clinical work, I am deeply committed to community engagement and giving back. I am an active member of the Dallas Psychological Association, the Lakewood Early Childhood PTA (LECPTA), and the Lakewood Elementary PTA, where I serve on various boards and committees to support fundraising efforts for public education. When I am not in the office, you’ll often find me volunteering my time to support our schools, neighborhoods, and local economy.
